he travels the way

tossing his long white mane

the quake of hoofed heels

stealing up in the dark

nuzzling impatiently

he wakes you

to steal away

ride bareback

- the only way

feeling the muscles

flex on his seductive back

the heat of his skin

strong flanks sweating

the coarse hair

of his mane in your hands

sole mistress

you ride as far as he goes

trusting his fiery courage

tranquil heart

until each breath he draws

seems to be your own

hoof beats pounding

the unyielding ground

White Thunder

crossing field

meadow

far far off

onto the highest crest

of whatever round

to start your dreaming ...
